El 10 de noviembre de 2011, la Corte Suprema de Israel finalmente ratificó la condena a siete años de cárcel contra Moshe Katsav, ex-presidente de Israel, por violación, acoso y obstrucción a la justicia. El veredcito se emitió ratificando la sentencia emitida en marzo de 2011 por la Corte de Tel Aviv, descartándose el recurso presentado por la defensa de Katsav. De esta forma, salvo postergaciones in extremis, Katsav deberá ir a prisión el 7 de diciembre.
